Anne Koplik Jewelry Launches Monarch Butterfly Fundraiser in Partnership with Monarch Joint Venture

Brewster, NY — October 2024

Since 1981, Anne Koplik Jewelry has been on a mission to create beautiful, handcrafted jewelry that makes women feel as radiant on the outside as they are within. Using the finest materials, such as brilliant crystals, vintage glass, and hand-mixed enamel, each piece is lovingly crafted by Anne and her team of artisans in their Brewster, NY studio. As a proud women-owned, family-run business, all Anne Koplik jewelry is made in the USA with a dedication to quality, creativity, and care.

This fall, Anne Koplik Jewelry is thrilled to announce a special partnership with Monarch Joint Venture, a nonprofit organization committed to protect monarchs and their migration by collaborating with partners to deliver habitat conservation, education, and science across the monarch range. Inspired by the beauty and grace of these magnificent creatures, Anne Koplik’s newest collection is designed to raise awareness and funds to help protect the monarch butterfly population.

In celebration of the monarch migration this October, Anne Koplik Jewelry will launch a fundraiser in collaboration with Monarch Joint Venture. The initiative will contribute a portion of proceeds from their new Monarch Butterfly Collection directly to efforts aimed at protecting monarch migration. The collection features pieces inspired by the monarch butterfly’s vibrant colors and intricate beauty, symbolizing transformation, hope, and resilience.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Monarch Joint Venture’s work in protecting these beautiful endangered butterflies,” said Anne Koplik, Founder and Lead Designer. “Monarchs are perfect examples of beauty and transformation, symbols that underscore our company’s values and that resonate deeply with the mission of our brand. It’s a privilege to be able to contribute to their preservation through our handcrafted jewelry.”

The fundraiser kicks off in October, coinciding with the annual monarch migration, a natural event that sees millions of eastern monarchs travel from the U.S. and Canada to their overwintering grounds in Mexico. Customers can participate by purchasing pieces from the Monarch Butterfly Collection, with a portion of each sale going directly to Monarch Joint Venture.

“Protecting monarch butterflies and their habitats is critical to maintaining biodiversity, and we’re grateful for Anne Koplik Jewelry’s support,” said Robert Seilheimer, Development Manager at Monarch Joint Venture. “Their contributions will help us continue our efforts to safeguard monarch habitats and ensure that future generations can experience the magic of the monarch migration.”

With a long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, community, and conservation, Anne Koplik Jewelry invites customers to join them in celebrating and protecting the monarch butterfly through this beautiful and meaningful collection.
